Fixed by the same commit as CVE-2026-106069. The advisory lists 22.x as affected, while the 22.23.4 / 24.22.1 release notes tag that commit with CVE-2026-106069 only. End-of-Life lines (18.x, 20.x, 23.x, 25.x) will not receive a fix.
Attackers can get around the security checks as if they aren't there.
